The Singapura — that is the name of this magnificent cat breed. It is a natural breed of oriental origin, which was, however, formed by American breeders.

Singapuras have unusual appearance and interesting character. They are one of the smallest cats, adult males weigh no more than 3 kg, adult females — no more than 2 kg. This little cat nation impress you with their grace and ardour. Singapuras have only one colouring — «sepia agouti» — goldish-cream tone with dark-brown ticking on their back, tail and head. Huge, unusually impressive eyes of the Singapura cats excite everyone who sees them. Their fur is very short, silk and has no undercoat. It is sheer pleasure to caress them.

This is a cat, completely trusting a person and following its master everywhere, always ready to play and jump. At the same time, it is not aggressive at all; it admits everything that comes from a person with love and admiration. Singapuras are very clever and will not bother if you are in a bad mood. And all the rest time they with pleasure will spend with adults, children and animals. Unlike other oriental cats, they are not talkative, their voice is tender and low. Complete lack of aggressiveness, combined with extraordinary playfulness, makes these little ones wonderful pets.

Seeming fragility of the Singapuras, however, does not affect their health. Their energy brims over, their eyes sparkle and their inventiveness is inexhaustible. Singapuras develop longer than many other breeds of oriental group and have a few kittens in litter. Kittens are ready to leave their mother in the age of 3-4 months.
