Body: comparatively small cat, has a strong, compact and muscular body. The rib cage is well developed, the back is slightly arched. Legs well-muscled, medium in length, evenly tapering to small oval paws; tail medium in length and slender, with slightly rounded tip.

Head: rounded skull, muzzle rather short, broad, with definite muzzle break. Curved profile, the slight dip is below eye level.

Ears: very large ears, broad at base, slightly rounded tips and light coloured ear furnishings. Set moderately high on the head, slight forward tilt.

Eyes: noticeably large eyes, rounded, set wide apart (not less than an eye width apart). Eye colour shading to yellow-green, yellow or hazel.

Coat: short, dense, fine and close-lying. The sepia-agouti colour is accepted. The ground colour is ivory, ticked with warm brown bands. Double, preferably treble ticking, i. e. two or three bands of colour on each single hair. The ticking to be evenly extended all over the body, free of any barring. The spine line, the tip of tail and heels are coloured in the ticking colour . Chest and stomach show the unticked ground colour. The inner legs can show some faint barring. The nose leather is salmon, rimmed in seal. The paw pads are seal.
